LIQUID COLD PLATE

Liquid Cold plate provides localized cooling of power electronics by transferring heat from the device to a liquid that flows to a remote heat exchanger and dissipate into either the ambient or to another liquid in a secondary cooling system.

For high watt densities, when air cooled heat sinks are inadequate the drive towards high power and more compact packages is making liquid cooling is a necessity. Liquid cooling is a natural evolution beyond air cooling where either due to thermal requirements or footprint requirements, the desired performance can no longer be economically met by air cooling.

Liquid Cold plates are a critical component of a liquid cooled system.Apollo’s liquid cold plate technology is the broadest range designed and manufactured in the industry. Our global capabilities enable us to develop and produce more efficient and compact cooling for extremely high heat loads while still maintaining design flexibility and reducing costs.
