COOLING SYSTEMS

At Apollo, we make Cooling systems made of vacuum brazed aluminum plate fin heat Exchangers. These heat exchangers cool the fluid by using forced air or gas. The various products include radiators, oil coolers, charge air coolers, heat sinks and liquid cooling plate. We also design and make customized cooling package solutions catering to customer specific requirements of the application.

Our products have their end applications in field of railway rolling stock, defence vehicles and airborne systems, wind energy turbines, industrial equipment like compressors, hydraulic power packs, gear boxes and Off highway construction & earthmoving equipment.

Converter Cooler
Apollo designs and manufactures Internal Coolers for maintaining the cabinet temperature in the panels of the propulsion system of railway rolling stock. These aluminium plate fin heat exchangers are vacuum brazed & welded as per EN 15085-2 CL1 standard.
Precise thermal design and fin selection is done to ensure achieve this cooling performance is delivered. The cross flow heat exchanger design ensures the cooling air from the blower cools the hot electronic chamber air. The cooling air blower can be added as an additional optional accessory.
Salient Features of compact aluminium heat exchangers:
  • Manufactured via fluxless vacuum brazing process to ensure clean brazing joints and high burst strength of more than 80 bar.
  • Maximum heat transfer area in less area thus requires lesser foot print area.
  • Long life aluminium alloy ensures trouble free performance for over 20+ years
  • Additional coating and painting, the aluminium plate fin cooler can withstand a corrosive level of C5 conditions
  • Designed to meet Shock & vibration testing as per IEC 61373
  • Designed to meet Fire & smoke protection as per EN 45545
